Garvan Traynor Jewellery is an award winning Belfast based business established in 2005. The business specialises in private commissions, designing one-off pieces of contemporary jewellery using a variety of metals and precious stones, including platinum and diamonds.
Garvan Traynor studied at the University of Ulster and with the Crafts Council of Ireland's Jewellery and Goldsmithing Skills Course in Kilkenny. Following graduation, Garvan carried out a traditional apprenticeship with Trudi Van Schriek Goldschmiede, Maastricht.
He has worked as a Senior Goldsmith for The Steensons and Sharman D Neill (Lunns).
"My creative process is about engaging and collaborating with the client. Every person is different and every piece I produce reflects that; this builds a constantly creative cycle."
Garvan involves clients closely in the design process to ensure that the end product exceeds expectations.
